I have been teaching for 20 years, and for 10 of those years I lived in South Korea and Japan. Students always say "People in my country don't speak English, so it is hard for me to practice." Well, there are a few things you can do:
Visit CBC.ca, a Canadian news site that contains videos you can watch, radio that you can use to practice listening, and, of course, lots to read.
Listen to good quality instructions from people who have successful teaching websites. Rachel's English is a site that I have been using for many years to help students with listening and accent improvement. She has amazing videos called "Ben Franklin Exercises" that are a favourite.
The third thing that I tell people to do is to visit the CELPIP Offical website and register for all of the free seminars that they offer for Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. They are long, but excellent help for the test.
These are just a couple of ways that I keep my students improving their English, even if they are not in Canada or another English-speaking country.
